About Us
Quickclass (Qc) is the invention of a team of passionate educators, designers, developers… (creatives all!) who want to allow film and media educators and learners around the world to coach and learn better than they’ve ever been able to before.
Our dream is to help us all to realise further the promise that smartphones offer to enhance education - by providing the best built-for-purpose digital tools for everything you need a touch or two away.
The Qc e-learning platform grew out of a passion for learn-by-doing filmmaking that spawned a global short-film festival in 15 countries for 400 screening parties and over 2000 Quickflicks produced for the festival, over a the course of a decade.
We’re dedicated to ever-improving the platform we can offer learners and educators, by continuously improving our existing services and always adding new tools and functionality to help ease your learning.

QUICKCLASS FOUNDER AND MD
StJohn has been starting and running organisations focused on encouraging young filmmakers to learn by doing to build their craft for 15 years. Quickclass has grown out of a passion for the short films format – and encouraging over 2000 Quickflicks to be produced in 15 countries.
Ralph Stenzel
QUICKCLASS CTO
Ralph is just about the best CTO you could hope to have in your startup. Just when it seems the digital walls are crumbling around us, Ralph will appear (in his cape) and keep the roof above our heads, rebuild the walls and all the while entertain us with his hard-core german techno reggae dubstep DJ set.
James Fair
QUICKCLASS HEAD OF EDUCATION
When James isn’t running the Film Department at Bournemouth University or writing the next chapter of his PhD’s thesis… you can find him publishing his first ‘book’ through Quickclass and being the major force behind ‘Quickclass’ education direction and strategy.

Vaidas has to put up with a lot of rubbish. Developers who need more time, project objectives that change on a whim, a legacy code base that would drive stronger men insane… but he takes it all in his stride and ends each day smiling.

Gaurav has fought off holy cow precessions and monsoon rains to get Quickclass published on time! More can does than a can do, Gaurav takes great pride in living by mantra “the apps you’re using NEED to be great”.

Arvydas isn’t afraid of software. Its all a projection on Socrates’ Cave of Illusions anyway. Reality is what you make it, and so, line by line, query by query, tweak by tweak, Arvydas creates a reality that’s more beautifully functioning for the rest of us.
